Delicas
Delica seed beads are the finest beads available for precise and detailed bead weaving patterns. Many shades are available to achieve very subtle details in your project. They are very uniform in shape and color and have few to zero culls per gram. Rather than a round bead shape, Delicas have a cylinder or straight sided shape and they fit together tightly to make a wonderful bead cloth. The hole is larger than a standard seed bead to allow for more passes with your needle and thread.
Our Delicas are made by Miyuki in Japan. They are sold in small flat recloseable bags that are labeled by DB number and color in 5 gram units unless otherwise stated. The DB number matches the number on the Miyuki sample color cards.
Five grams of Delicas will contain about 1000 beads. Precious metal Delicas will have about 500 beads in 5 grams.
